Originally from Bordeaux, cultivated in the Médoc and Graves-Saint-Amant areas, it is a widespread international variety due to its high adaptability to climatic conditions and winemaking techniques, while maintaining its personality intact. Thanks to its grapes with round and medium-sized berries whose skin is very resistant, of blue-black color, so rich in tannins, it is possible to obtain structured wines of great quality and longevity.
